Impact of Divorce on Children - Parenting Class at Gateways for Youth and Families

Gateways for Youth and Families provides Impact of Divorce on Children (IDC) parenting classes for parents divorcing, making custody changes, changing parenting plan, or seeking third party custody arrangements. The class teaches stages of child development, age appropriate expectations, identifying stress in children, the grief process, reducing the stress in children, and communication between parents who are separated. Gateways provides the parenting class for parents with court order parenting class requests. The classes are currently every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm at our Gateways Bingo facility in Lakewood. Registration is required before attending the parenting class. The address of the class is 11605 Bridgeport Way SW, Lakewood, WA 98498. For more information about our IDC Parenting Class and the other programs we offer, please visit our official website at www.gatewaysforyouth.org.  Gateways for Youth and Families provides programs that shape the lives of youths since 1890.
